Núria Farré – Ophelia

Dreamy portraits!

I immediately connected the amazing female portraits by the Spanish artist Núria Farré to the Shakespearian character Ophelia.

It looks like to see a modern version Pre-Raphaelites paintings where femininity, isolation and solitude are common topics. I also recognise a sense of serenity and release on these pantings, but always surrounded with darkness.

Water Light Graffiti

Cool!

Antonin Fourneau’s artist residency in the Digitalarti Artlab resulted in the Water Light Graffiti project: an LED wall that reacts to contact with water.

The “Water Light Graffiti” is a surface made of thousands of LED illuminated by the contact of water. You can use a paintbrush, a water atomizer, your fingers or anything damp to sketch a brightness message or just to draw. Water Light Graffiti is a wall for ephemeral messages in the urban space without deterioration. A wall to communicate and share magically in the city.
